What our shop listings represent
OpenBookies is a directory for finding physical betting shops across the UK and Ireland. Listings bring together a shop's name, address, location and regular opening hours so you can find a branch and plan a visit.
Opening hours and live status
The weekly hours shown are regular opening hours. Bank holidays, Christmas and other special dates can differ, and operators may change a branch's hours at short notice. “Open now” information is calculated from the regular hours shown for that shop and the current local time; it is not a guarantee that the branch is open.
Check the individual shop page and, when timing matters, confirm with the bookmaker before travelling.
How to report incorrect information
If an address, location or opening time looks wrong, email contact@openbookies.com. Please include the shop name, town, page link and the detail you believe should change.
How corrections are handled
We assess correction reports against the information available before changing a listing. A report may prompt further checks, but submitting one does not automatically change the public record. We do not publish private reporter details or internal evidence.
Freshness and verification limits
We do not claim that every listing has been recently verified. Directory information can become out of date as shops move, close, rebrand or change their schedules. The correction route above helps us identify information that may need review.
